Family and Faith

The presence and involvement of family faith is critical in the development of a child. True parenting models itself on God the Father. The Waconia Knights help promote family and faith through events with leading speakers sharing how their faith plays a crucial role in the development and sustainability of true Christian values for all family members.

Modern families can be at once exciting and overwhelming. Sometimes family members become passive and lost in their mission. Each family member has a role in the “domestic church” in our homes.

Dick Bremer Faith, Family, and Baseball Event
Former MN Twins announcer, Dick Bremer, spoke at the KC “Faith, Family, and Baseball” luncheon on Sunday, May 5th 2024. Families in our parish and community heard Dick share stories of his baseball broadcasting career and faith lessons he learned along the way. Thanks to Dick and especially Father Stan who helped make the connection and arrangements for Dick to speak at the event.

Al Newman Spoke on Sunday, Apr 30, 2023 at St Joseph School at the KC Faith, Family, & Baseball lunch event. Over 220 people gathered to hear Al share his baseball stories and faith journey.
